1. PTO Meeting
Our PTO meeting will be this Tuesday, April 14th at 6:30 p.m. Please RSVP by Tuesday morning so we may prepare accordingly. Thank you.

2. Showcase
Please remember our student showcase will be this Thursday, April 16th at 7:00 p.m. This will be the last chance this year for parents to see a sample of our students’ work. We encourage you to attend.

3. Open House
Our next Open House / Info. Night will be Thursday, April 23rd at 7 p.m. If you know of any families interested in attending Woodlands next year, please encourage them to visit us then. Thank you.

4. Depression Lock-in
In coordination with their history class, Middle School students will be having their Depression Era Lock-in right after the Open House on Thursday, April 23rd. They will be dressed in Depression Era clothes and make dishes from that time. (More details to come.)

5. No School April 24th
There will be no school Friday, April 24th.

6. Symphony
All students are invited to come to the Symphony on Tuesday, April 28th. We still need parents to help us with the drive to and from the Light Rail station off Lincoln and I-25 that morning and afternoon. The performance will be at 11 a.m., followed by lunch downtown. Permission slips will be in your boxes this week. Please sign and return ASAP so we can figure out how many chaperones we may have room for.

7. Parent-Teacher Conferences
If you have any questions or concerns regarding your child’s report card grades and would like to speak to any teacher, please do not hesitate to contact the front office to schedule an appointment with that teacher.

8. Student Chores
Students received their new chore schedule this past week. A copy will be in your boxes by Monday. Most jobs don’t take more than five minutes. So, please help us with this small request to have our students partake in keeping THEIR school tidy on a daily basis by allowing them those few minutes at the end of the day to do their chore and get signed off. Remember that if they do not get signed off every day, they loose their Friday jean wearing privileges.

9. Donations
We are still in need of paper towel rolls and plastic forks. This should be the last time we run out for the year!

Thank you.
