Mizel Museum

This Friday is our field trip to the Mizel Museum. Among other things, we will learn some Israeli dance! Please remember to bring money for lunch. We will return to the school by 1:30. We'll have a great time!

Brain Teaser #5

First comment with the correct answer wins!

Four people are on one side of a long and very unstable rope bridge. It is the middle of the night and they are down to one flashlight. This is the situation:

Two people can cross the bridge at a time but they must travel at the speed of the slower person. They must take the flashlight with them so they can see where to step. One of the people has to travel back across the bridge to bring the flashlight back. Each person travels at a different speed. One person is very fast and can make it across in one minute, the second person can make it in two minutes, the third in five minutes, and the last is injured and requires ten minutes to cross the rope bridge. They are being pursued by a scary monster and must make it across the bridge in 17 minutes. How can they do it?

End of the First Quarter

Today marks the end of the first quarter! Report cards will be distributed on Monday.

The date for the student showcase has changed. The new date is Monday the 21st of November and it runs from 7-8 PM. We hope to see all of you there!
