STUDY FOR MIDTERMS.

All MS students have Current Events Midterm on Monday.

       We reviewed in class what you should study - check your notes!

         (CE Magazines, Countries & Leaders, Africa - Physical Features, 

                Colorado Political figures and federal political figures - check the President's Cabinet,

                Latitude & Longitude, Map skills)

MS 1 Sci: Test is Tuesday.

                 

                Remember to review: Scientific Method, Metric Conversions, Time, Chapters 1& 2,

                old tests,  worksheets, math problems, diagrams.

MS 2-3 Sci: Test is Wednesday.

                           Add sec 8-4 to your reading for test.

                Remember to review: Old tests, quizzes, worksheets, labs etc.

                 Test will include: Scientific Method, Metric Conversions, proper Units,

                  Time, Chapters 1-3 and 8 (Sec 1-4), Math Problems, and diagrams.

Homework Wednesday & Thursday January 6 & 7 2010

Wednesday:

       All MS Classes: STUDY FOR MIDTERMS

Thursday:

      Int. Sci: Midterm is Monday.

                    We haven't read all of this in the book but we have done a lot of it in class.

                    Look over Chapters 1,2 and Sec. 1 of Ch3 - thru pg  C74.

                       The lab portion of the midterm is to find the density of different objects.

                       We practiced this today. Using displacement or L x W x H for finding volume and using the balance to determine mass. The test will include questions about the periodic table , atoms, mixtures, solutions and the scientific method.

    Int. CE: Review latitude & longitude, continents, Latin America countries & capitals.

                  There is a large section on map skills - this does not require studying.

Study a bit and rest up - you'll all do great!!!!
